2025 Cocktail of the Mayor of Quebec
I had the pleasure of attending the Quebec City Mayorโs Cocktail, organized by the Quebec Urban Development Institute (IDU), in the majestic setting of Chรขteau Frontenac. A packed room brought together over 200 commercial real estate professionals!

๐ธ Isabelle Melanรงon, a communicator I greatly admire, shared her inspiring journey. She emphasized the importance of the ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฟ๐ป ๐๐ผ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ, not only to stimulate urban development but also as a ๐น๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ธ๐ป๐ผ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ด๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ป ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐. Her eagerness to learn from more experienced individuals, starting in her teenage years, is a valuable lesson in curiosity and perseverance.
๐ธ Mayor Bruno Marchand also impressed me with the cultural shift he is leading within the beautiful city of Quebec. It was the first time I had the chance to hear him speak. He highlighted how the cityโs 7,500 employees have evolved in just a few years from a โdivineโ stance to a ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต with real estate developers. This transformation, achieved while maintaining exemplary ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐น ๐ณ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต, is remarkable and promising for the region.
๐ฌ Beyond the inspiring speeches, I was delighted to reconnect with Normand Hudon, a companion from the Quebec delegation on a trade mission to China promoting Quebec expertise in Asia, as well as to meet many dynamic stakeholders committed to the ambitious goal of delivering ๐ฑ,๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ต๐ผ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ in the Quebec region.
