Giving Back.

I had the immense privilege of visiting the Centre de pédiatrie sociale de Lévis, led with great heart by its executive director, Maude Julien (center in the photo). Thank you to my client for recommending this wonderful cause. Together with Marc-Antoine Bélanger, they warmly welcomed me and introduced me to their team — a big family of caring and dedicated professionals.

This center is one of the 48 social pediatrics centers in Québec, supporting more than 15,000 children from vulnerable backgrounds, helping them regain confidence, learn self-love, and hold on to hope.

Several times during the visit, I had tears in my eyes. Having lived through a very difficult youth myself, I was deeply touched by their stories of the children’s state of mind before, during, and after their time at the center. As a teenager, I was fortunate to receive the listening ear and support of a similar center in Taiwan — which helped me not give up on my own life.

Today, with gratitude and humility, I want to highlight the extraordinary work of these centers, who devote themselves wholeheartedly to bringing real, lasting support to disadvantaged children.
